I thought it was the best of the two also but it seemed like they had a lot of empty space in it. Without the character building to take up story board they were left with only plot building leading up to the next movie. This one had a lot of running around and emotions in it. I do have to say that the battle at the end was great. They did an excelent job with the CGI.

I think I like the second movie the same of slighly less than the first movie. In the first movie I loved all the shots of the Shire and Hobbiton, they were sooo beautiful, but in the second movie it was all greyness...I know it's suposed to be, but I just missed the Shire I guess. But, there was also a lot of Gollum...so that balances out a little....

CGI? You need to explain this to me. Computer Generated Images...or something along those lines. Special effects, basically.

YAY! I was so impressed with TTT. Except when PJ made Faramir look mean! He was really nice in the books. but he made Faramir look mean, that was the only part I hated.

Okay, maybe one of you might know this, WHY DOES LEGOLAS' EYES change colors during the movie!?!?!?! I heard he forgot to put his color contacts in on a few of the scences...and I guess they didn't feel like shooting them over.

Yeah i heard the same thing too. And also something about Orlandos eyes being really dark that sometimes, in deifferent lighting it didn't show the blue too well.
But I'm not totally sure about either of thos answers.
