i think it depends. like they froze walt disney and once they figure out how to clone they're going to clone him...that bugs me. but i think that if someone gets murdered they should freeze them and clone them. i don't know. i guess it's just how you want to look at it

I don't like it. It's like the person is getting replaced. The clone wouldn't be the same, it wouldn't think the the same or even act the same. its just like twins but one died. It's not right. I mean what to say that they bring back Walt Disney but he doesn't have that same you know I guess spark, that made him famous. Like he could be mentally retarded or something. you never know. The scientists haven't researched fully about the affects it going to have on the world and everyone around the clone. The don't know how the clone will struggle KNOWING that hes a clone. There would be media and press on everything if the found out. It's just wrong.
This is one of the strong subjects I have an opinion on. A big opinion. lol

OK, time for the debating part...
I fully agree with your opinion. But what if they did like the full research to make them EXACTLY THE SAME??? What would you say then? but like a said, your opinion is good, and you're probably right, but you never know. the way technology is advancing...

I think it's a paradox, personally. You can't make two people exactly the same, it's not possible. Your personality is determined by your personal experiences, heredity and how you were raised. And, like it or not, no two people have exactly the same experiences, or upbringing, so maybe the part of their personality determined by heredity is the same, but nothing else.

I can understand cloning some animals if they become endangered, but humans are a little too complex for that, even if we develop the technolgical means to clone humans.
There are already so many people on this earth why would you really want to double the population? It means more distructive behavior and polution and using up the earth's resources. Not to sound mean, but they should save cloning for when man's numbers begin to dwindle.

but you don't really know that. they could put the same brain in...all that good crap. clinical studies have advanced since the old'n days. But if they removed the brain from the original person...then they'd die. And even if they did, I still don't think they'd be exactly the same. Think about twins, they have exactly the same genetic structure, they're raised the same, yet some sets orf twins have opposite personalities. Go figure.

ok, so i agree with mauve and arwen, i think it is so fucked up and same with animals, we would most likely get sick from eating animals that have been cloned and people, thats just scarrry
