ok, well, pay no attention to the other "rules" section, because i've come up with some other ones that are for the road.
in your posts:
ok, i usually say put at least two sentences, but in the past i have broken this rule, so i'm going to say put at least ten words, is that cool? we can all compromise.
don't use abbreviations in your posts because people don't understand them. the only one you can use is lol or LoL or LOL or however you want to use it, because believe it or not, some people haven't been told what's what in the world of language like that. i'm sure we could start lessons on it though if people have problems with not using it.
normal board rules:
don't cuss! at all! i will not tolerate any language whatsoever! and don't bleep it out either, like @$$, or b*t*h, or anything, because it means the same thing. if you see this done in the past, i'm sorry, but these are updated and anyone who doesn't follow and of the above rules will get TWO warnings, and then i will DELETE, not ban, you. after i delete you if you straighten up you can come back, but if it happens again i will have to ban you. Likewise, be piolite to all the members! Again, TWO[/u][/i] warnings will be given and your account will be deleted.
no board bashing! board bashing is when you make fun of the boards and such, like "Oh my gosh! why the heck would you put a board like this on this site? it's so dumb!" comments like this you must KEEP TO YOURSELF or don't join! or just avoid that thread.
RPG-ness:
when RPGing, there are rules that you have to follow as well. use actions such as [action] :action: ::action:: *action* **action** (action) <action> <<action>>, or anything else you can come up with THAT'S APPROVED BY ME! when your character is talking, you must do ONE OF TWO THINGS:
put your character, like say you're arwen, you would put Arwen: "This is what I'm saying." (yes, you have to use quotes)
either that, or put the character you're talking to, like say you're arwen talking to legolas, you would put Legolas: "This is what I'm saying." just so this doesn't get confusing, go to the character profile and PICK ONE OF THEM to use!
ok, OOC means Out Of Character, and that means that you aren't RPGing, but merely stating something. BIC means that you're Back In Character, and that means you must RPG.
RPG means Role-Playing Games, meaning you play a character. if you don't understand this, don't RPG until you do.
ok, i think that's it.
anything else i'll just modify.
oh, and try not to double-post (speaking of modify). if you make a mistake or something, just hit the modify botton, that's what it's there for.
